I had created these blog years
ago, in college with help of a friend. I am sure that he would foreseen a
potential in me to be a great blogger
(with no offence to great writers who are in to blogging) one day as he was a
hard nut to crack or in other words it was very difficult to convince him to
help me out. He ensured that the link of his blog is shared on the home page of
my blog. Talking of his blog, he had done nothing to boast off and he is not blogging
anymore. Still you can find the link of his blog on my home page.
September 13, 2012, on this fateful day,
after one thousand six hundred eleven days, I finally decided, though on
insistence of another friend, to write ‘My
First Blog’. But the million dollar question is what to write? I am a ‘no one’ with literary skills that can
put a sixth grader to extreme embarrassment. But a big thanks to this ever
evolving technology, Mr. ,the man who invented computer & Microsoft for its
MS WORD as this programme has underlined
my each and every spelling and grammatical mistakes, which could have proved
fatal to the English language, and suggest the correction for those mistakes.
April 9, 2008 another fateful day in
the life of this blog (the only past date which I could find on my blog), when
this blog took birth and came in to existence, it was a challenge to give this
blog an apt name. After a brainstorming session I came up with the name “T.E.C.N.O.C.R.A.T.” The name “T.E.C.N.O.C.R.A.T.” seemed perfect as
at that time I was honing my technical knowledge in a technical school and
hoped to write a technically enlightening blog. But, after four and a half
years of tryst with technology, I feel more like a technically challenged
person than a “T.E.C.N.O.C.R.A.T.”.
Still, I believe another fateful day will come, when? I don’t know, that will grace
this space with a technically enlightening blog.
So I decided to continue with the same
name i.e. “T.E.C.N.O.C.R.A.T.”
Also I decided to write at least one blog
each and every month from now onwards. This is going to be an exa- herculean
task as evidenced by the credentials of wonderful track record of blogging on this
blog, right since its birth. Let us see in due period of course, what the
future has in store for this blog.
Now, leaving all these promises to self
in the fateful hands of future, the writing of my first blog is not proving to
be cakewalk either. It has become one of those tasks which one always wanted to
do but keep on post-poning it till the end of time as there is always some more
important things to do first. Anyway , I brain stormed a lot in search of most
suitable topic for my first blog but couldn’t pick one due to the merits and
demerits of one over the other. Moreover I wanted ‘My First Blog’ to be the most perfect first blog ever written.
Finally, I came up with what you
have just finished reading (hoping that you did not jumped to the last line directly
or fallen asleep in between) as ‘My First Blog’.
